Lindy's elderly owner just passed away and he is now in rescue. According to his medical records he turned 7 years old this month, though you would never know it, especially by his teeth. He is a little chunky at 15 pounds but seems very healthy and, as you can see, well groomed. He is due for his Distemper/Parvo in August, and his Rabies is due in May of 2003.
Lindy seems to get along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is shy at first but then very happy and affectionate with people. He also does very well on a leash. So far, he seems like the perfect boy.
If you are interested in adopting Lindy, please complete an adoption application. For more information contact Vickie. Lindy is in Eastern PA.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Linday has been Adopted!
I'm happy to report that Lindy went to his new home yesterday. Doris and David have had Griffs for many years. David is retired and looking for a buddy, which I believe he has found in Lindy. As soon as I brought Lindy into the room, he went right over to Dave! Doris tells me she feels a little neglected, because Lindy ignores her...until she picks up the car keys. Then he is right by her side, waiting for a ride! They do currently have another Griff, Willie, who is attached to Doris, so I think it works out perfectly...one dog for each!
I was a little weepy as I watched them drive away, but I am truly grateful for the loving new home that they will provide for Lindy.
