Lily is a sweet little girl who was found on the street in early January. We think she is a griffon/terrier mix. She was skinny and cold and hungry. During the last few weeks the people who took her in have cared for her and worked with her and she has blossomed.
The vet estimates that Lily is between 1.5 and 2 years old. She has gained 3 lbs. since she was rescued – and now weighs 9 lbs. Lily has had a full round of vaccines.
Lily has learned to sleep in a crate and how to go in and out through a dog door. She is working on leash training and housetraining(doing well on housetraining.) She has learned to sit and lay down on command. She gets along well with other dogs. She is a happy friendly little girl who just wants to please.
Lily is in Bakersfield, CA.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
