Meet Lilly Belle!
 

My name is Miss Lilly Belle! I'm a tiny 12-18 month old, 5.5 pound wisp in the wind. Even though my foster mommy and daddy think I'm just about the most perfect little girl that ever walked this earth, the "skinny minny me" look doesn't really appeal to me, so I'm working very hard to add a few curves in all the right places because I'm very eager to show off my new and improved girlish figure this summer.

As we enter into the season of miracles, I want to wish you a very blessed holiday season filled with the miracle of goodwill and love towards each and every living being, even little girls like me! You see, the miracle of the season is especially meaningful to me because I know all about the tragedy of lost love, losing the only home I've ever known, abandonment, and the pain of my little heart being broken into a million pieces.



But lucky for me, through the love and devotion of the animal shelter staff where I was abandoned, the friends of the shelter, NBGR and now my amazing foster mommy, daddy, big sister and hilarious Griffy foster brother and sister, I've learned all about the power of love, renewed hope, and the promise of miracles which really can and do come true if we simply believe!



Today I am once again a happy, sometimes shy, but very hopeful little girl, filled with endless love to share with a new forever family who will love and cherish me forever, who will never abandon me again like yesterday's trash, and never ever break my heart into a million pieces.



My dream for a Christmas miracle is finding a young, active family who can be home with me most of the time or maybe even take me to work with them. I don't ask for much because a perfect afternoon for me could be spent simply hanging out with my new mommy or daddy, maybe going for a walk, taking a little road trip, or snuggling on my new mommy or daddy's lap while they work on the computer, watch TV, or napping with them on the couch while they relax reading a good book. At the end of the day, I can't think of anything better than sharing their bed, cuddled up as near to them as possible, and dreaming of all the happy times we've shared together.

Is there any chance you might be my Christmas miracle? In return, I promise to be a very good girl, and love you forever and ever with all my heart!

Lilly Belle is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, heart worm negative and on preventative.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
