Meet Kissie!

The first thing you notice about Kissie is her shiny black velvety coat and soft sensitive brown eyes. The second thing you notice is she is very much a little lady. Kissie has excellent house manners. She does not jump up on furniture, does not beg at the table for food and rarely barks.

Every day is a new adventure for Kissie. It is easy to tell that Kissie loves her new life with her foster family. She enjoys playing in the snow as much as soaking up the sun. She enjoys a good back rub and relaxing with the family in the evening. If you stop stroking her too soon she will nudge your hands to keep petting her. She is a real tail wagger and comes when you call her name.

Potty training is going very well. She loves the treats she gets for going potty outside and will even do a "Griffy spin" for her reward. She is crate trained and working on leash training. She sleeps quietly all night on her doggie bed in her foster parent's bedroom.

Kissie likes chew bones, her little stuffed monkey and playing chase with her foster sister. Kissie would do well with another gentle dog. She is a sweetie just waiting to be invited to be the newest member of a loving home. Kissie is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative. She is 5 years old and weighs 15 pounds.

Kissie is located in Wichita, KS.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application
. If you would like more information, please contact Pam.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
