Meet Kirby!

Kirby is a three-year-old red rough packed full of energy who was found wandering the streets in the Houston area. Weighing approximately 15 lbs, Kirby is a ball of energy who loves to run laps around the backyard as fast as his short little legs will carry him and play with toys and other dogs. For the short time Kirby has been with his foster mom, he sleeps quietly in his crate and doesnít mind being crated.

He needs to be supervised when outside the crate and will probably need help with potty training, but heís great on a leash and goes potty as soon as you take him outside. Itís been too cold for walks, but he does well on the short distance he has walked on his leash.

Kirby is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all this little boy needs is a loving family to take him into their arms.

Kirby is located in Houston, TX.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
