Meet Kia!

Kia is a 3 year old female looking for a new home. She is shy and skittish but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate. Her family has an 18 month old child and Kia has shown aggression towards the child because she is afraid of her.

Kia weighs about 10 lbs. She walks well on a leash and is pretty well housebroken although she does have occasional mistakes. Kia is friendly with other dogs. She understands basic commands like sit, stay, lie down. She is a sweet loving girl who needs a quiet home.

Kia is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is located near Wilmington, NC..

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
