Meet Kennedy!
Kennedy (nicknamed Kenny) is a very sweet boy who is looking for a new home – his current owner doesn’t have enough time to give him on a daily basis and feels he will be better off with someone else.
Kennedy came from a pet shop. He is about 18 months old and he weighs about 18 lbs. Kennedy is leash trained and is accustomed to using a doggy door to a fenced yard to do his business outside. He may regress a bit in the housebreaking when he goes to a new home – but he is a good boy and if kept on a regular schedule he will do well.
Kennedy has not been accustomed to being crated – perhaps because he was kept in a tiny crate in the pet shop for four months.
Kennedy is
very active and playful and would like another dog to play with.
He also needs a good amount of exercise to keep him from becoming
mischievous. He is still young enough to be a wild child and needs
lots of action – but when he calms down at the end of the day
he is a snuggly cuddly boy. He gets along well with the other
dog in the house, although he does want to be alpha and needs
guidance on good behavior.
Kennedy is
up to date on vaccines. He is located in Orange County, CA.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
