Meet Kelo!
Kelo
came to us from the shelter with his hair terribly matted and
stinky. After a quick trip to the groomers, what emerged from
all the matted hair was a handsome and sweet Griff.
Kelo has quickly become accustomed to the good life, being spoiled
and hanging out with his foster sister. He enjoys chicken treats,
rawhide, back scratches and tons of love. Kelo is very generous
with his kisses, always first in line to give them to you in the
morning and when you get home. He loves to cuddle and sleep in
the bed with his foster sister and mom and will snore happily
away as you read. He always wants to be everywhere his human is,
following his foster mom from room to room. He loves to go for
walks and gets along well with other small dogs but he doesn’t
like cats.
Kelo’s a gentle little soul who wants so badly to please and show
you what a good boy he is and how he can quickly become the apple
of anyone’s eye. He is not much of a barker and when he does it’s
a very low bark. Kelo is very protective of his foster mom when
new people approach but as soon as he realizes that everything
is safe he makes friends with you very quickly.
Kelo knows how to sit and stay, is house, leash and crate trained.
If you are looking for one of the sweetest things imaginable on
earth, Kelo is your guy. Kelo is 3 years old and weighs 12.5 pounds.
He is neutered, micro chipped, heartworm negative, and up to date
on his vaccinations.
Kelo is located in the Los Angeles area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Leah.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
