Meet Josie!
Josie
has the most perfect Griffy face and she loves everyone. In fact
she expects everyone to love her right back and they always do!
We call her Queen Josie because she thinks it is only right that
she has the prime spot on the sofa next to you and also that she
sleeps right next to you in bed. In Josie's world the only creature
more important than her, is you! Belly rubs are one of her favorite
things & she will immediately roll on her back the second you
reach toward her.
Josie gets along well with other dogs and is 98% house trained.
She will use a doggy potty pad or go outside if it isn't too terribly
cold. She walks well on a leash and expects you to be as proud
of her considerable talents as she is! She will do best in a home
where someone is home most of the time. She does not like to be
crated, so will need to be gated in the kitchen or bathroom when
you are away.
Her adorable face, self confidence, intelligence and happy manner
are very hard to resist! All she really wants is to find a special
person to call her very own. She will make it her mission in life
to give you all the love and joy she yearns to offer you.
Queen Josie is 6 years old and weighs 13 lbs. She has a small
frame so we estimate that she should weigh around 10 lbs. She
is on a diet to attain her goal! Josie is spayed, current on her
vaccinations, heart worm negative and is on preventative. She
is located in Morris, Illinois.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Judy.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
