Meet Josie!

Note: This dog is not in our program.
This is a courtesy listing only, to assist in finding this dog a home.

Josie is a very sweet girl, when she wants to be. She has a little bit of an attitude at times, so will not do well in a home with young children. She is a little afraid of bigger dogs when she is first introduced, but she learns to tolerate them,...unless they get in her face, and then she will go into a massive bark fest twoard the "offender". Probably a way she learened to take care of herself when she was a stray. She seems to be alright with the cat in the household, although part of that may be that the cat is bigger than she is! Josie is getting more involved with her people in her foster home as time goes by. At first she was very stand-offish, but she will now jump up into their laps, and if they are sitting up, she tries to be a "parrot" by sitting on their shoulder. Josie is small, about 7-8 lbs. and she is somewhat delicate, so she needs to go into an adult only home where she can be pampered and loved.

Josie is with Animal Rescue Klub (ARK), located in Plano, TX. If you are interested in making Josie part of your family, applications can be found on their website, or you may send a message to Josie's foster mom, Wendy

Josie's adoption donation is $125. They are accepting applications from the Dallas area and surrounding cities only. A vet check and home visit are required before adoption.
