Meet John John!
(#2459)

If you ever met a dog who deserved to be named ‘Lucky’, it’s this little guy; but we named him John-John instead in honor of the Good Samaritan who rushed him to the vet after he was hit by a car and called NBGR to find him a safe home. He’s also the man who called the vet to check on John-John numerous times and drove him to his foster home when he was released by the vet after treatment.

According to his foster mom, JJ is housebroken, gets along great with other dogs, and makes himself at home like he’s always been a part of the family. We estimate that he is 5 years old, and he weighs about 12 lbs.

JJ’s luckiest day so far was the day he met our Good Samaritan, but his luckiest day in the future will come when he goes to his forever home. Could you be the lucky family that welcomes him with open arms and never lets him get away again?

John-John is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative, micro-chipped, and is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
