Meet Joey!
Joey
is about 4-5 years old. He is a very cute guy and he needs to
find a new home because his owner passed away recently after a
lengthy illness.
Joey needs
an update on his house training skills - his owner had been immobile
for quite some time so he had not been taken out regularly - but
he seems to know what he should do and is getting used to doing
his business outside again bit by bit.
Joey is a
smart little dog who really wants to please and gets along well
with new people (although he is a bit timid around children.)
He loves going for walks and is leash trained. He sits and stays
and would love to go to obedience class - he loves learning new
things - especially if there is a treat involved.
Joey is neutered
and will be brought up to date on vaccines before he is placed.
Joey weighs around 14 lbs.
Joey is located
near Buffalo, New York.
If you would
like more information, contact Vicki.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
