Meet Jesse!

Jesse is an absolutely gorgeous little guy, only 2.5 years old, weighing in at a mere 17 pounds. Just look at that magnificent regal face of his! Jesse is one of the very lucky ones who recently emerged from living a very lonely, stark existence in a commercial breeding facility, later shipped to an Oklahoma puppy mill auction, finally saved by another rescue group at the auction, then relinquished to National Brussels Griffon Rescue with the hopes that Jesse will someday soon find a warm dry place to hang his hat, with a family who loves and adores this amazing and very courageous little guy!

Now, for the very first time in Jesse's short life, he is eager to forget his sad beginnings and is very anxiously waiting for that very special someone who will finally pamper him with the type of love we have been privileged to take for granted, living with a family who will simply love and adore him, shower him with one-on-one attention, and cherish him forever as a beloved life long member of their family, just as it should have been for sweet little Jesse from the day he was born.

Jesse is a magnificent diamond in the rough, who is ready and willing to form a loving, trusting relationship with a forever family. Every day his dreams are filled with images of that special someone who will simply take the time to show him all the wondrous things life has to offer him. Jesse is currently living with a very loving foster family, but with other foster dogs needing attention also, it is not always possible for him to get the one-on-one attention he craves and so desperately needs, yet when he gets it, he is absolutely beside himself with joy.

Jesse fancies himself to be quite a ladies man, so it would be little Jesse's version of heaven to live with a family with a stay at home mom who will pamper and shower him with undivided affection, which he never experienced while living at the commercial breeding facility. Those dreamy eyes, pouty mouth and his loving nature will melt your heart, and it will not take long for him to eagerly return every bit of love and devotion you share with him.

Jesse would do best in a home with another well-trained dog who could teach Jesse all about normal family life, playing with other dogs, the amusement of squeaky toys, and help Jesse understand how a normal dog pack functions. A fenced-in yard is a must because Jesse is very eager to learn about life outside of his his living quarters, making him a very lively, inquisitive little guy.

Jesse is neutered, microchipped, on heart-worm preventative, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
