Jericho is a seven month old puppy who got out of the puppy mill before acquiring any emotional or social "baggage". He’s a 13 pound bundle of puppy love! Playful, happy, bouncy and affectionate, this little fellow is learning his name, how to walk on a leash, and is doing wonderfully on his potty training (only 2 mistakes and that was on his first day!).
He dearly loves to cuddle at night in bed with his foster mom and her dogs, play with his foster Griffy brothers, and doesn’t seem to mind staying in the utility room for an hour or two by himself. He loves to chew so its imperative to keep his puppy mouth full of chewies and toys. He loves toys.
Jericho's face and demeanor reminds you of the Disney movie, THE LADY AND THE TRAMP. He’s a scruffy charmer like the Tramp and he has huge, round eyes that search your face for connection and love. His "funny" face makes you laugh and he seems to enjoy his role as the family comedian, cavorting around the house with joyful abandon. He responds quickly to correction and looks miserable until you love on him again. He's the kind of dog that should be very easy to train in manners and tricks.
Jericho would be a great dog for kids. This is a gem of a pup!
He is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative, on preventative, microchipped, and neutered.
Jericho is located in Liberty, MO.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
