Meet Jennifer Ross!
My name is Jennifer. I
may be the long lost sister of the recent rescue dog, Jerry Ross. I was picked
up as a stray and taken to the Humane Society of Silicone Valley on 10/21/03.
I was then picked up from the shelter and taken to a home where the nice lady
took me to her vet and had me checked out.
The good news is I am a
healthy girl. I don't have heartworms or any other illnesses. The vet spayed me
so I don't have puppies and gave me a rabies shot so I don't get rabies, and a
microchip so if I get lost again someone will know who I am.
All of the people at the
vet's office thought I was Jerry Ross, a dog they took care of two months ago.
He might be my long lost brother. Jerry has found a very good new home with the
help of NBGR and I hope I do too. I am currently staying with the lady in California
who took care of Jerry. She is going to give me a new haircut soon.
I am trained to go potty
on papers and also house trained to go outside. I know how to sit, lay down, stay
and sit up. Jerry knew all those things too. I have never made any messes in my
bed at night. I love to play with children and other dogs too. The vet thinks
I might be around two years old. She thinks I look so much like Jerry.
Jennifer is located in a
foster home in California
If you would like more information,
contact Carole Ross. If you are interested
in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.

A note from Jennifer's new Mom
I just wanted to drop a note to let you know how grateful we are that you chose
our family for Jennifer.
I've attached a picture so you can see her with the kids.
