Meet Jannie!

Jannie was released from a puppy mill in Tennessee because whenever she had a litter of puppies, they were born dead. No profit for the puppy mill so they turned her over to rescue.

Jannie is a quiet, gentle soul. She has the most expressive eyes that look sad and haunted at the same time. However, she is coming out of her shell and learning how to play with the other dogs in her foster family. Jannie would benefit from a household with another dog as a companion.

Jannie has a gorgeous coat, a deep rich shiny black. She is such a cutie and very smart. She learned to use the doggy door within minutes of arriving at her foster home.

While Jannie is shy, she still wants to be your shadow as you move around your home. If you are eager for a loving, devoted companion as you go about your daily chores, then Jannie is the Griff for you. She just adores to be loved on.

Jannie is doing great on the leash with a slip collar. She is also doing very well with potty training if taken out regularly, especially if she can expect a treat afterwards. She is crate trained.

Jannie loves to cuddle and sleeps in bed with her foster family and the family Griffs. She is four years old and weighs 19 pounds. Now that she knows what love is, she can't get enough.

Jannie is spayed, heartworm negative, on preventative, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped.

Jannie is located near London, KY.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Pam.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
