Meet Jake!
Jake
is an owner released black and tan Griff who weighs 14 pounds.
He is three years old but acts like a happy energetic puppy. That
energy level and his intelligence would make him a very good candidate
for Agility, Flyball or other sports. He would also be an excellent
walking and hiking companion so he could direct that energy. Jake
is the “class clown” and is a very entertaining and fun loving
boy.
Jake has severe separation anxiety, but he is improving all the
time. He needs a stay at home human that would be diligent with
house breaking issues. At the present time he wears belly bands,
but he has made good progress.
Jake would do best in a home with an experienced dog person who
has no other dogs, cats, or children. Jake is neutered, microchipped,
on heart-worm preventative, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Jake is located near Wichita, Kansas.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
