Meet Hope!
Hope
is a wonderful girl who came from a puppy mill closing. In spite
of her background she is a friendly affectionate girl. We think
Hope is about 6 years old. Her hair was all shaved off just before
we got her and is just starting to grow back in her pictures.
Hope is a
real Velcro griff who follows her foster mom everywhere and curls
up in her lap every chance she gets. Hope gets along well with
the other dogs in her foster home although she is not a big game
player – she often prefers to just spend her spare time curled
up for a nap.
Hope is learning
leash training and is doing very well on house breaking. She has
several little outfits and seems to enjoy being dressed in them
(she loves the attention she gets!) She is not crazy about holding
still for the camera so her photos are not too wonderful – but
she is a great girl. She would love a nice quiet home with someone
to cuddle up to.
Hope is losing
a little weight and we think she will be around 10 – 10.5 lbs.
when she is trim. She will be spayed and will have her teeth cleaned
before she goes to her new home. Hope is up to date on vaccines
and takes heartworm preventative.
Hope is being
fostered in Ohio.
If you would
like more information, please fill out our adoption
application and contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
