Meet Herbie!

Herbie was one of the 27 Brussels Griffons rescued in Phoenix, AZ earlier this year. This rescue was featured on Animal Planet Heroes Phoenix. He was only 3 months old at that time and spent the next 6 months in a shelter situation before he was allowed to go into a foster home. The court case was recently settled and Herbie can now be release to a forever home.

Herbie is 15 months old, and has been neutered, micro-chipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He weighs 11 pounds.

Herbie is a loveable Griffon that loves to play with other griffs. He is good with other small dogs and loves to snuggle with his foster mom and dad. Herbie sleeps snuggled up to his foster mom in bed.

Herbie would love a home with another Griffon to play with. He has not been around children. He is working very hard on his potty training but needs to be taken out every few hours.

Herbie is located in Sun City West, AZ.

If you would like more information, contact Carole. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
