Harry came in to NBGR from another rescue where he had been surrendered by a commercial breeder. He is about 4 years old and is a sweet little fellow. He weighs about 12 lbs. and is neutered.
Harry’s foster mom says he is kind of giddy/goofywiggly and loves people. He wants attention all the time and loves it when he gets it. He loves to cuddle and hates to be left alone.
Harry has been working on his housebreaking manners and had been doing pretty well – but he has relapsed a bit since the weather turned really cold – so he will need to be kept on a good schedule and taken out to do his business and praised when he does well.
Harry gets along well with other dogs – but he is really a people dog and he must have a person who just wants to love him.
Harry is up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm negative and takes heartworm preventative. He is being fostered near Des Moines, Iowa.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
