Hank is a 3 year old smooth coat Brussels Griffon. He was surrendered to a local animal shelter because his owners said that they couldn’t take care of him any longer (we think he may have belonged to a woman that either died or went into a nursing home). He has been a perfect gentleman in his foster mom’s house, and gets along great with both dogs and cats, LOVES playing with the dogs and playing fetch, seeks lots of attention and kisses, is potty-trained, and is happy to follow you around the house with his tail wagging and a huge smile on his face.
Hank is quite a bit overweight at 26 lbs, but we’re currently working on his diet plan to get his boyish figure back. He is quickly losing weight by being fed a high quality dog food and getting much needed exercise. We think his previous life was spent laying around eating bon bons and watching QVC. He’s been an absolute joy to foster and is so cute and funny and sweet and loving. He is now fully vetted, micro-chipped, is HW negative and on HW and flea prevention.
If you have a little extra room in your home for this happy, sweet boy he will fill your heart with joy.
Hank is located in Dallas, TX.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
