Here is Griffon. He is a great big sweet boy - all 23.5 lbs. of him! Griff is a red (more blond really) rough with cropped ears who could use a good groomer, but he's pretty cute anyway. Griffon is happy to see everyone he meets and is friendly towards
other dogs. His family didn't take care of him at all. He had not been vaccinated since he was a puppy (he is just over 3 years old). Then to top it off they decided they didn't want him anymore. Griffon went to another home for a little while but he couldn't stay because he chased the cats too much (just for fun you know - who knew they would give up using their litter box!)
Griffon's vaccines have been brought up to date and he has tested heartworm negative. He is trying to kick a little urinary tract infection so he can be neutered in 2 weeks and then he will be ready for adoption. He is a sweet, cuddly couch potato.
Griffon is currently in a foster home in Norwalk, CT where he is enjoying the company of two Scotties and a Chihuahua who seems to be completely smitten with him! If you are interested in adopting Griffon please fill out an Adoption Application and contact Vicki if you have any questions.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
