Meet Grayson!
Grayson
is from a backyard breeder and was surrendered to Rescue when
the breeder could no longer house him. Grayson is a 2 year old
rough coat red Brussels Griffon, and weighs 17 pounds.
Grayson is a loveable, high energy bundle of fun. He loves to
be the center of attention and always wants to be first in line
for hugs and kisses, and especially treats! He is a very active
Griff and really enjoys going for long walks and running around
the house and backyard. He likes having friends to play with,
but will do fine in a house with or without another dog. He also
really loves to cuddle, and is a velcro Griff.
Grayson has asked to be placed in a home where he will get his
morning and evening belly rubs, and where his new parents are
physically active and will take him brisk walks of at least 3-4
miles a day. Grayson has told his foster parents that these two
things are a must! In addition, Grayson will do best in a home
where he is not left alone for long periods of time.
Because Grayson came from a backyard breeder, he is still learning
his new role as a companion. However, has caught on very quickly
to everything in his new life and is even learning some basic
obedience! He is house-broken, is crate trained and is leash trained.
Grayson is microchipped, neutered, on heartworm preventive, and
up to date on his vaccinations.
Grayson is located in Sacramento, California.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Pam.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
