Gizmo was found wandering the streets in south Houston and was taken in by a kind lady who tried to welcome him into her family, but her small children made him so nervous that he most often stayed in his kennel. She contacted NBGR to help find him a home that is better suited.
This super-compact little guy is a Griff mix, but he is ALL Griffy heart! Gizmo weighs 8 pounds, is approximately two years old, and can run like the wind. His foster mom reports that he loves to play with his foster brother and that they chase each other madly around the house.
Gizmo does not like loud noises and would not do well with small children. He is doing better with potty training, but he still needs a watchful eye and a routine to keep him from having accidents.
Gizzy is a love bug and is happiest when he can drape himself over your lap and gaze up at you adoringly. He is a really good boy and will make someone a wonderful companion.
We can all use a little lap cover. Do you have some space for this little guy in your heart and home?
Gizmo is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, and heartworm negative.
He is located in Houston, Texas.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at email@example.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
