Meet Gino!
(#2794)
Meet Gino - this handsome boy is seven years old, weighs 15 lbs, and was surrendered by his family who felt they didn’t have the time to devote to him. Gino gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. It’s hard to tell which of these three are Gino’s favorite things to do – play with squeaky toys, get belly rubs or snuggle with his human.
Gino is a very well behaved, good natured Griff. He has not had any accidents in his foster home; he will politely sit at the door to let you know he needs to go outside then hurries out to do his business and comes right back in.
Gino is a healthy boy but he does have allergies to a few outside things and a couple of food items. We feel he would really do well in a home located in a dryer climate or a home that does not have a lot of grasses. We will be happy to discuss his allergies with any family interested in adopting this precious boy.
Gino has been sleeping in the big bed with his foster mom and dad or the children – depending on where he wants to be. We are sure he will gladly share the big bed with you - if allowed. He has won the hearts of his foster family who says the only time he barks is at unfamiliar noises but will stop when told “enough”. While away Gino is free in the home with his foster sister with no problems. He is crate and leash trained and also likes to take baths!
Gino is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all he needs is a loving family to romp and play with until it’s time to curl up and relax.
Do you have a little extra space in your home and heart for this special little boy? Well then, what are you waiting for?
Gino is located in Baton Rouge, LA area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
