Meet Georgie Girl!

This sweet little girl was stuffed in a storage box and dumped in an alley before being rescued by animal control. At first Georgie was terrified of people, and cowered when you tried to pet her but after only two weeks at her foster home, she has come out of her shell and pretty much greets everybody she meets with a wagging tail and a big lick. She loves affection, and in a very short period of time she has blossomed and become an extremely social and affectionate dog to all.

Georgie is about 8 years old and she weighs 12lbs with a little room to gain some more. She is housebroken and like a true Velcro-Griff she likes to quietly follow her person from room to room.

This little girl is looking for a quiet loving home where she won't be left alone too much, and she can also be pampered and spoiled to make up for all she's been through. She will do best in a home with no cats and as an only dog or with other dogs that are calm like she is. She doesn't require a lot of exercise but does enjoy short walks, a warm cozy bed or couch to nap on and she LOVES to eat!

Georgie will require understanding and patience while she adjusts to her new home and gains trust in her new person but then she will make someone the easiest and most loving companion. She is truly a special little girl.

Georgie will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and have had a full dental cleaning before being adopted.

Georgie is in California.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application and contact Rachel.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
