Meet George Two!
(#2430)
George will be 3 yrs old on May 29, 2009. He is neutered, up to date at the vet and healthy. He is a red rough Griff and a member of the "Ima Huge Griff Club", weighing in at around 30 lbs.
George enjoys destroying stuffie toys, playing rough with his doggie friends and being attached to his foster mom's side. George is a fairly needy guy who is unsure of himself in most new situations. He will need a patient leader to help him gain confidence in himself.
George was turned into rescue through no fault of his own - his owners decided they were unable to housetrain him but also let us know that they were too lazy to let him out or take him for a walk. How is he supposed to be trained to go potty outside if he's never taken out ??? His foster mom reports that after two days, a schedule of going outside regularly and patience - George is able to stay accident free in the house. George's new family should be aware that he will need gentle reminders and patience with his housetraining.
All in all George is a happy guy that is just looking for some serious play time and exercise in his new home.
George is being fostered in Boston, MA..
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Cristen.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
