Meet Geo!

Note: This dog is not in our program.
This is a courtesy listing only, to assist in finding him/her a home.

Geo (Jorjie) has already been adopted once but was returned to us (according to Orphan Animal Contract) because the young adopter lost his employment and then his housing. Our former adopter will be living with family until new employment can be found. But, his family will put up with only one of his dogs (Jorjie being the most recently adopted). This is definitely NOT a negative reflection on Geo's behavior! Geo will never play catch with you. He probably will never retrieve an article or play tug-of-war. He will not take a long walk or go jogging with you. He should not wear a collar or a bandana - maybe a harness. He does not have much interest in toys, but would dearly love a playmate equal to his size and energy. He will never ride in a car with his head out the window, tongue flapping in the breeze, a dopey smile on his face. He won't jump up on the furniture but would dearly love to curl up in a lap. He needs a high quality diet with a few raw veggies and fruit thrown in occasionaly (no grapes, raisons, onions, or chocolate!), a warm bed, a good supply of unbleached rawhides, and a loving patient human being. He definitely should NOT BE TIED OUT AT ANY TIME! That being said, a fenced yard is preferable. A second dog his size is very desirable. You see, Geo (Jorjie) is only about 7-8 pounds and is as large as he will ever be!

Geo is with Orphan Animals in Bay City, MI . For more information please contact them at 989 892-0933 or orphananimalsmi@gmail.com.
