Meet Fran!
Fran
is a shy little girl who came from a puppy mill closing. We think
Fran is about 1-2 years old and belge color. She is around 12-14
lbs. She looks funny in her pictures because she was shaved right
down almost to her skin – even her beard! She will look a bit
better in a few weeks after she grows some hair back.
Fran will
need someone with patience who will teach her confidence – but
she has been coming out of her shell in her foster home. When
you first want to pet her she is nervous and jumpy – but if you
stop she does come back and gives you a kiss and asks for more
petting. She needs help with housebreaking and leash training
– although she is already beginning to learn that.
Fran is spayed,
up to date on all vaccines and on heartworm preventative. She
is being fostered in Michigan.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our adoption application. If you would like more information, please contact Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
