Meet Ernie!
(#2500)
Ernie is a sweet happy loving boy who is a two year old mix of
Brussels griffon and pug. He has pug like coloring but has some
parts of him that look like a smooth Brussels griffon also.
Ernie was owner surrendered to a shelter with his sister who is
rough coated but with a curly tail – their family did not have
enough time for them and they were spending way too many hours
in a crate. His sister is in a new home already and now Ernie
is looking for a new home.
Ernie is a pretty well adjusted guy. He walked in to his foster
home and found the toy box right away. He wants to play and play
with the other griff in his foster home. He loves squeaky toys
and will fetch them for you. He still has lots of puppy in him
and can get in to mischief! His foster home has a cat and he is
quite cautious with her.
Ernie weighs about 16 lbs. but could stand to lose a little weight.
He is neutered and is up-to-date on vaccines.
Ernie is being fostered in Oakland, CA.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
