Meet Erika and Amber!

Amber and Erika are 8 years old griffy look-alikes. They each weigh about 20 lbs and are red and red-blond in color. Perhaps there may be a little Lhasa Apso in their heritage??? They were brought to the shelter because the owner did not feel like she could give them enough attention. They have been together all their lives and the shelter would like to place them in the same home. It's very possible that these dogs are siblings. They are both supposed to be housebroken, good with children and other pets. It was reported that they were living with two small children in the house.

Amber and Erika are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area.

If you are interested in these sweet girls, please contact DFW Humane Society. You can visit their website at http://www.dfwhumane.com/.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
