Meet Emmy Lou!
(#2434)
This cute little girl was rescued from an Austin animal shelter and boy, was she a scared little thing. Emmy Lou is now safe at her foster home and her lovely personality is beginning to shine. She readily goes into her ex-pen when asked to. She shows no interest in the cats or the birds. Her favorite thing is being with her person. She craves attention but is not pushy about it. She loves to lay in your lap with her head on your chest, gazing at you with those soft big brown eyes. She can run like the wind and enjoys a good romp in the backyard with the other dogs at her foster home. She adores toys so plan on having plenty on hand. She is a sock thief, dirty ones of course. She doesn't chew them, just carries them back to her bed. Emmy is in the process of relearning potty training.
Emmy Lou has a notched ear so it stands up, giving her such a cute look. She is believed to be about 3 years old. She has been spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and is on heartworm preventative.

Emmy Lou is being fostered in Austin, TX
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Flo.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
