Meet Dylan!

Dylan is a 2 year old female red rough Griffon, full of energy and looking for her forever home. She is a very playful young girl who loves toys, treats and most of all, your loving attention. Dylan prefers women but will warm up to a man if he has patience and gives her some time to get to know him. Her personality is one that is timid but curious, playful yet sweet and innocent yet ornery. She still acts like a puppy in many ways like coming up behind you to tap you on the leg just to remind you (in case you forgot) that she’s still waiting for you to come play with her or “talking” to you in her special voice. She is somewhat frightened by small children and would do better in a home with no children or older children.

Dylan is in perfect health. She weighs 10 pounds, has been spayed, is up to date on her shots and is on heartworm preventative. She is familiar with and able to use a doggy door but doesn’t have housebreaking down to a science yet. She’s smart and is very teachable but in her foster home, she follows the other dogs out the doggie door so she will need more formal housebreaking for homes without a dog door. She is comfortable in a crate and does well in the car. She gets along well with other small dogs and shows no aggression. She is a very fast runner and enjoys playing and running in the yard. It will be mandatory that she have a very secure fenced yard at her new home.

Overall, she is just a sweet little girl that deserves a loving family that wants to spend a lot of time with her. If you have that need in your life, please complete an adoption application for Dylan.

Dylan is currently being fostered in Mississippi.

If you would like more information, contact Lezlee. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
