Meet Duncan!
(#2605)

Duncan was found wandering the country roads where he was probably dumped, so we donít have history on him before he came to us. We do know that his foster mom says he is sweet and that he is shy but is starting to warm up.

This little boy weighs less that 10 lb and is estimated to be one - two years old. He is being fostered in a home with other dogs of all sizes, and he gets along well with them. He will benefit greatly from being in a home with another dog, but mostly he needs a home where he gets plenty of human attention to help him come out of his shell and feel more secure.

Duncan will need help with potty training and leash training, but with patience we feel he will progress nicely. His photo was taken right after Duncan was groomed -- and much of his matted fur had to be removed -- but you can see he has a wonderful Griffy face.

Duncan is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on his vaccinations and ready to start a new life with his own family. We donít know where Duncanís journey started, but we know he wants to end up in a loving home and never be dumped again. Do you have the loving, patient home Duncan is searching for?

Duncan is located in Texas.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
