Meet
Diva!
(#2627)
Diva is a beautiful 8 year old griff that was recently rescued
from a commercial breeding facility in Missouri. She is red rough-coated
girl who weighs around 10 pounds. She spent her entire life in
a tiny cage and her sole purpose in life was to have puppies.
Despite her rough start in life, Diva has such a wonderful personality
and is loving every second of her new-found freedom!
Diva is still a little shy around strangers, but quickly warms
up. She is stuck to her foster Mom like glue and is a true Velcro-griff!
She does enjoy the company of the other dogs in her foster home,
but really just wants to be around people. She is very sweet and
quiet, but certainly does not act her age at all and can keep
up with the younger dogs in the house with no problems! She is
doing great with the leash and crate-training and should be ready
to go to a new home soon.
Diva is an amazing little girl who came from a truly horrible
place. She was lucky enough to be rescued by NBGR and given the
opportunity to live the life that all dogs deserve! She is now
spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines and on heartworm/flea
prevention.
Diva is being fostered near Columbus, OH.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
