Meet Dinah!

Note: This dog is an Affenpinscher and is being posted here as a courtesy since Affenpinchers have no website. This dog's rescue and re-homing is not being supported by The National Brussels Griffon Club.

Dinah is a young female Affenpinscher rescued from a puppymill in Kansas. She's 3 years old, 13 lbs, spayed and in very good health. She's housebroken and crate trained. She's located in Ft. Mitchell, KY (south of Cincinnati OH). She's a major lap dog and wants only to be with you.

Here's her story.

"I never knew what grass was or how wonderful human hands could be! My foster family loves me so much, and guess what? I love them too! I have learned to be so gentle with my canine sisters, but it's really my human family I can't get enough of. I love to sit as close to them as they will allow me. I am even trying to learn to play with toys! But best of all, I like sitting on the couch with my foster mom, watching a movie, and eating popcorn. I just want to lick and lick her hand from all the love I have inside and have never known before."

"My mom says I can go to a new forever home now because my shyness is much better. I still get afraid easily, but I never run because I know everything will be ok. I really want someone who will just love me and hold me and be with me forever. I am so loving and just want a chance to show it."

If you would like more information, contact Tracy. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Dinah is located in Kentucky.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
