Meet Dee Dee!
Meet Darling Dee-Dee! This little girl was found beside a highway and was rescued and brought into the National Brussels Griffon Rescue by a lady named Dee. Seemed appropriate she take the name Dee-Dee. Apparently, Dee-Dee had given birth to a litter of puppies because she was still producing milk when she was picked up. A volunteer drove around the area looking for “lost dog” flyers but nothing was found.
Dee-Dee was apparently a well loved pet. She is potty trained and has immediately fit into the routine of her foster home. It’s like she’s been here all her life. She has been a breeze to foster. It would be wonderful if all rescues could be as easy as this one. She gets along great with her foster brother and sisters and walks well on a leash.
Dee-Dee will make a great family pet. You know how some Griffs love one particular human the best? Well, Dee-Dee loves everyone the best. She is about 1-1/2 years old and weighs 11-1/2 lbs. She will need to gain a little more weight and have a little time for her beard to grow out. This little girl will make your world so much better if she becomes your Griff.
Dee-Dee is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, heart worm negative and is on preventative. She is located in Georgetown, Texas.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Flo.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
