Meet Davidson!

Davidson will be 1 y.o. May 15th. He was an owner surrender but originally came from Petland Pet Store. He is a sweet sweet boy. He is great on a leash, loves to go for walks, is friendly with people and other dogs, will sit for treats, and wants to sleep in your bed at night. He cuddles up so close and doesn't move or make a peep all night. He loves toys but will destuff fluffy toys oh so happily. He is good with his housebreaking as long as you are patient enough to stay out with him until he does go potty. He's so full of wonder and joy that when he goes outside he forgets why he is outside. He will get up and start walking around when he has to go potty.

Like all Griffons he can be quite demanding when he wants attention. You might as well sit down and cuddle and play with him for a while when first getting home or nothing will get done. He's a typical Velcro Brussels Griffon. He loves to chase tossed toys and most of the time will even bring them back. Being a puppy he can get very exuberant in play.

Davidson weighs about 17 pounds, is neutered and up to date on all his shots. He is heartworm negative and on preventative. We are working on his crate training.

Davidson is located in Cummings, Georgia.

If you would like more information, contact Beth. If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Update 05-16-06:
From Davidson's Foster Mom

Here is Davidson with his head trimmed. I think it was the first time as I had to go real slow and real easy as he was anxious about it. These shots are of him helping me at work. If I leave my chair, he's in it. If I leave the room, he's up on the grooming table settling in. And he sure does love to run and zoom. He gets excited when he sees me picking up the toys cause he knows we're going to out into the HUGE back yard and play for a while. I'll throw them as far as I can and you can see him just smile as he chases them. Then he starts running these amazingly huge circles round and round. He's a cool dog!
