Meet Chief!
Chief
is a four-year-old red rough male. He is neutered, UTD on his
shots, on heartworm preventative and has a microchip. He weighs
12 pounds.
He gets along with other dogs and even the cats. Chief is house
trained but if left too long, he will have an accident. He has
learned to use the doggy door.
Chief still needs some leash training but has been improving fairly
rapidly. He has had his first grooming and although he was not
too fond of the bath, he now prances around, knowing that he has
a very handsome hair-do and looks like a handsome Griffon.
Chief is very friendly with people, insisting that all who come
love him and, in return, he gives them lots of kisses. He has
rapidly adjusted to his foster home, to his foster parents, all
their friends, and to his Griffy brothers and sisters and the
two cats. He was a little hesitant with trust at first but has
quickly come to trust his foster family.
Chief is located in the Pensacola, FL.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Carol.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
