Our man Buddy was found wandering the streets. After a short stay at a shelter where it was hoped that his family would come to claim him, NBGR was called in to find him the perfect home.
Buddy is about one year old and is 22 pounds of high-octane energy. This is one happy boy who enjoys playing with other dogs or is content playing by himself. We feel he would be an excellent family dog because he loves everyone. A large, secure backyard where he can chase you or run full speed chasing a ball would be perfect for this guy to help burn away that extra energy. Buddy is also intrigued by toys and curious when he finds ones that make new and different sounds.
He is crate-trained and is working on leash- and potty-training. He travels well in the car and sleeps in his crate without a peep. A typical Griff, Buddy wants to curl up or sit right next to you for snuggling and petting, but he will stay in place if you get up.
Buddy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. Now all he needs is an active, loving family that is always ready to play and will never let him get away.
Buddy is located in the Austin area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
