This precious little boy was found in his crate with all his toys on the steps of a veterinarianís office. Itís our best guess that he was loved very much, but for some reason his previous family just couldnít keep him, and they didnít know about NBGR.
One of the keen-eyed vet techs recognized Brutus as a patient of another veterinarian, and we were able to get a little information on him from his previous vet.
Brutus is a 4-year-old, beautiful, black with silver cast rough, and he weighs just under 11 lb. Donít let the name fool you, this is one little sweetheart who is housebroken, walks like a champ on a leash, and sleeps soundly in his crate. Brutus loves toys -- especially if they squeak. He gets along well with other dogs and is on the quiet side. He loves to cuddle, melts into your chest when you hold him, and like a true Griff, follows you everywhere.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative / on preventative, and micro-chipped. Brutus is located in Houston and anxiously waiting for his forever family to come pick him up.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Connie.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
