Meet Brock! If you are looking for a companion to cuddle with, take over your lap, and be a true “Velcro” dog, Brock is your guy! He is a handsome griff, with a red rough coat. He is a bit on the tall side, and weighs around 12 lbs.
Brock is a young dog, around 3 years old. He likes to think he’s the baby, though, and wants to be the center of attention. He gets along with other animals, including cats, however, the cats might not be amused with him when he wants to play a game of chase. He does not like going out in cold weather, but would probably look very dapper in a sweater.
Brock is doing well with crating, and seems to do OK when left home alone with his animal companions. However, this is still a work in progress, and he may chew on things if he becomes too bored.
His foster mom is currently working with him on learning a few manners. House-training is a work in progress. Brock is also still learning how to be gentle when taking treats, and is learning to greet people in a calm fashion. He is also learning his basic commands.
He may bark randomly, so we think he needs to go to a home where he doesn’t share walls with neighbors.
Brock is neutered and heartworm negative. He is up to date on his vaccinations, and is microchipped.
Brock is being fostered in the San Diego, CA area.
If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Crystal at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
Brock has been Adopted!
