Meet Black Eyed Susan!

NBGR was able to rescue four puppies this month. They were dumped off at a kill shelter in Louisiana by a puppy mill breeder who couldn't sell them because they were too old. They are five months old.

Black Eyed Susan is the only little girl in this bunch of lively pups. She weighs 9 pounds and is such a cutie. She will be sure to keep your eyes dancing with joy.

All the puppies will be microchipped before adoption. They are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative.

The puppies are located in Texarkana, TX.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Pam.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Black Eyed Susan has been Adopted!

December 30, 2008

Valkyrie (aka Black eyed Susan) is wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. She wants to thank all of you for helping her and her brothers find new safe homes, and hopes you plan on having as much love and fun as she has scheduled for the next year. I am attaching a photo so you can see how she is doing.
