Meet Bister!
(#2426)
Bister
came in to rescue yesterday as an owner surrender – his owner
did not have enough time for him on a day to day basis and felt
he would do better in a new home. Within a short period of time
he warmed up to me and he is very sweet and affectionate.
Bister is a big boy – approximately 18 lbs. He is about two years
old and is neutered. He is a bit bashful at first – but if you
sit and let him come to you he does – cautiously. Once he is comfortable
he likes to play – and he loves to zoom around the room – typical
griffy behavior.
Bister is somewhat housebroken but he will need to be monitored
closely and will probably make some mistakes when he goes to a
new home.
Bister is very very active. He needs a home where he will get
lots of exercise - and he seems quite athletic. He is good with
other dogs (there are two other griffs in his foster home) and
he is doing well with the cat in his foster home.
Bister is being fostered in Southern Connecticut.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
