Meet
Bijou! (Molly)
This beautiful little girl, now named Bijou, was found wandering the streets in Elk City, OK, pregnant. She was picked up by a “guardian angel” and during the night Bijou gave birth, but all the babies died. It is believed she delivered prematurely as the vet said she had no milk production.
After some research, it was determined that Bijou was a Missouri puppy mill dog who must have been sold to someone in OK and then escaped. She was lucky enough to be adopted by another “guardian angel” who has had Bijou now for over a year.
Although never posted to “Available Griffons,” we are so proud of this little girl and for her giant strides made with her owner. You can imagine how scared, lonely, and terrified she must have been at the beginning. Here’s the latest report from her owner: “Bijou is finishing Novice I and moving to agility for confidence building! She is a new dog. She can be petted, given commands, demands affection. She's made tremendous gains! Thank you for putting us together! She's still a bit leery as you can see but the terror is gone!
