Meet
Bette!
(#2587)
Meet Bette, a six year old, 15 pound, red rough, female who was
also a breeder surrendered. Bette spent her life in a cage outside
– enduring all kinds of inclement weather – a horrible existence
for any dog. She is now enjoying the comforts of the indoors in
her foster home with foster siblings which she blends well.
Bette, is an active little girl who loves to run and play. She
is crate trained, has mastered the doggie door and is doing well
with potty training. Bette’s foster mom says she is overall loving
and sweet but she tends to want to be the alpha dog - so she needs
a family who will not let her get to full of herself and boss
the others around.
Bette is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped, and
on heartworm preventative. She had a rough first few years and
is looking forward to a forever family who will allow her the
right balance of attention and space so she can catch up on all
the love and affection she has missed out on.
Do you have a place in your heart and patience to nourish this
little girls needs?
Bette is located in the DFW area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
