Meet Bennie!

Bennie is a very sweet little fellow who came from a shelter in Wyoming with another dog. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs about 9 lbs. You can see that poor Bennie was in awful condition when he first came in but a very kind All Breed Rescue Network person pulled him from the shelter for us and got him all cleaned up – lots of work! Our thanks to Clara who gave him his first grooming!

Bennie has been in a foster home for several months now and he has been learning how to be a beloved house pet and how to live with other griffons. It has taken Bennie some time to understand that the people who wanted to pick him up or scratch his ears are doing so with love and tenderness.

Bennie takes his cues from the other confident griffons in his foster home. He loves to play until he drops. He has learned to use the doggie door. He is still a bashful fellow and will need to have someone with time and patience to bond with.

Bennie is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He is heartworm negative and takes preventative.

Bennie is being fostered in Casper, Wyoming.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
