Meet Benjamin!
(#2638)
Benjamin was pulled from the shelter to which his family surrendered
him after they lost their home. Luckily, a guardian angel at that
shelter contacted NBGR to find this special boy a new loving home.
When he was picked up from the shelter, Ben was a filthy mess.
His coat was so matted that he had to have all his fur cut off;
but when it grows back, it will be beautiful again.
Ben is about two years old. He is a little shy at first, but he
warms up quickly. He gets along and plays well with other dogs
and is good with cats. His foster mom says he is just the sweetest
boy with the cutest pouting lip. He is working on leash training,
doing well with house training, and sleeping quietly in his crate.
Ben would spend hours sitting next to you on the sofa given the
chance -- or even better, he’d like to spend that time sitting
on your lap.
Ben weighs 22 lb, is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on his
vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. He is looking
for a forever home with a family who will welcome him with open
arms and never let him go. Could you be the forever family Ben
deserves?
Ben is located in the Ft. Worth, TX area.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Connie at conniel@andell.com.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
