Meet Ben!

Note: This dog is not in our program.
This is a courtesy listing only, to assist in finding this dog a home.

Ben is a very sweet natured guy who loves to explore. In fact, that is how he got lost, and got picked up by Animal Control. Sadly, no one came looking for him, and so Ben was saved from the gas chamber by Westie Rescue/Austin.

Ben is about 2 years old, has had all his shots brought up to date, is neutered and is ready for his new home, where he can be safely kept in a secure fenced yard and not go roaming again. Ben weighs about 18 pounds, stands taller than the average westie, but gets along great with the other dogs.

Ben has an adorable face, somewhat like a Brussels Griffon, but a bit bigger. He has a really nice soft coat of terrier hair, so he will need a trim now and then. Ben knows "sit" and will sit to get his ears and chest scratched. He is not a pest about wanting attention, but loves it when you stop and take the time to talk to him and love on him. Then he is happy to go off and let you do your stuff.

Ben is with Westie Rescue/Austin TX, located in Austin/Round Rock, TX. Please contact his foster mom at westiestx4u-rsq@yahoo.com for an application and a chance to meet this really great guy.
