Meet
Bella!
(#2737)
Bella was rescued from a hoarding situation in Northern California.
Bella is a small black rough griff – weighing in at about 8 lbs.
with natural ears and tail. We believe she is about 3 years old.
Because of her experiences in her previous home, Bella will need
a family who will be willing to work with her to help her become
more confident as she has a chance to experience life as a loved
family member. Bella gets along with her foster "doggie-brother"
(another Griff three times her size!), but has not been very playful
so far – although she is beginning to blossom. She is learning
to walk on a leash and learning housebreaking.
Bella is looking for a loving permanent home and someone with
patience and lots of time for her. She does have some separation
anxiety so would like someone who is home often.
Bella is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and
microchipped. She takes heartworm preventative. She is being fostered
in Walnut Creek, CA.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
